Financial Support
Direct funding for kids and the programs that serve them, raised through our events and partnerships.
About Us
Tampa's first Wasteland/Apocalyptic themed Krewe — and a 501(c)(3) non-profit built to put that spectacle to work for kids.
Our Mission
To provide a better outcome for local community kids in need. To include, but not limited to, children within the foster care system, diverse youth programs and other at-risk minor/young adults in need. We will do this through financial support, mentoring programs, advocacy, and business partnerships.
Our Story
District of No-Mad Nation, doing business as No-Mad Nation, is Tampa's first Wasteland/Apocalyptic themed Krewe. Rust, leather, and scavenged rigs get us noticed at Gasparilla and at events across Tampa Bay. That attention is the point — it is what we convert into support for kids in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
Behind the costumes is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. We raise money, we mentor, we advocate, and we bring local businesses to the table on behalf of young people who are too often overlooked: kids in foster care, kids in youth programs that run on nothing, and young adults aging out of a system that stops catching them.
How We Do It
Direct funding for kids and the programs that serve them, raised through our events and partnerships.
Showing up consistently for young people who need adults in their corner.
Speaking up for at-risk youth and the foster care community across Tampa Bay.
Working with local businesses to multiply what a volunteer krewe can do alone.
Who We Serve
Kids navigating the foster system, who need stability and someone in their corner.
Established local programs doing the work, amplified by our funding and volunteers.
Young people facing hardship in the Greater Tampa Bay Area, including those aging out of care.
